He is a fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a member of the Legislative Committee for the Trusts and Estates Section of the Virginia Bar Association, and past chair of the Virginia State Bar Trusts and Estates Section.\n \nHe has served as an adjunct professor at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary where he taught estate planning and wealth transfers. He has also taught estate planning, and estate and gift taxation at Virginia Commonwealth University.\n \nGuests and Emeritus\n \nThe guest fee is $90. Guests must be registered in advance by a member. Guests who are in good standing at another region's Estate Planning Council must register in advance, but are not required to be sponsored by a member.\n \nEmeritus members must be registered and the Emeritus fee is $85, unless already paid for the year. Checks should be made payable to the Estate Planning Council of Richmond.\n \nGuest and Emeritus fees are due at, or before, the meeting.
