The topic is What's New at Your Commnity Foundation?

Sherrie Armstrong currently serves as the President and CEO of the The Community Foundation since July 2015. The Foundation holds nearly $850 million in assets with a staff of 43 and an impact focus on educational success, economic prosperity, health and wellness and community vibrancy. Prior experience includes 26 years with United Way in multiple leadership positions.  In her more recent role as Executive Vice President of Investor Relations at United Way Worldwide she was responsible for scaling and executing on strategic fund development practices to advance impact in education income and health in United Way communities around the world. She also served as the CEO for United Way in Richmond for 11 years, transforming the focus to lead on critical community issues and improve outcomes for children and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from West Virginia University.Molly Dean Bittner

     Molly Dean Bittner is Sr. Vice President of Philanthropic Services at the Community Foundation, Molly works with donors in creating donor advised funds and aligning the philanthropic interests of donors with needs in the Greater Richmond region. Prior to joining the Community Foundation in 2013, Molly was the Campaign Director at VCU Massey Cancer Center where she led the $100 million Research for Life Campaign. She spent 17 years at the University of Richmond in various roles in the advancement office, finishing as the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services. Molly began her development career at her alma mater, Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. She currently serves on the boards of SwimRVA, Jacob’s Ladder and the Estate Planning Council. 

GUESTS and EMERITUS

    The guest fee is $90. Guests must be registered in advance by a member. Guests who are in good standing at another region's Estate Planning Council must register, but are not required to be sponsored by a member.
    Emeritus members must be registered and the Emeritus fee is $85 unless already paid for the year. Checks should be made payable to The Estate Planning Council of Richmond.
